Jay Cutler expected to miss the rest of the season

This season has been more of the same in terms of injury, as Watt was sidelined after aggravating a back injury in Houston’s lackluster 27-0 loss to the New England Patriots in Week 3. “He didn’t blink with not being very experienced with us even in Lambeau, so it’s not going to be too big for him”.

But this isn’t news, is it?

Jay Cutler may have played his last down with the Chicago Bears. It’s only after losing Shaw and Brian Hoyer (broken left arm) that Barkley has been forced into action with Cutler injured for the second time this season. It’s not overwhelming. I think that’s pretty important at that position.

With Jay Cutler out, will the Titans and Bears game this Sunday be low-scoring for bettors at 1:00PM ET? There was an NFL Network report on Tuesday that Cutler was set for a second opinion on his shoulder after an initial diagnosis of a torn labrum that would keep him from playing in the team’s six remaining games. One of the theories about Cutler is that he’s coasted his entire career. “That’s kind of carried with me up until this point and I’ve learned a lot from other quarterbacks in this league that I’ve been with who kind of had that same mentality, so that’s helped”. Here were five players who stepped up in the game against the Bears. Troy Hill may get another chance with the team, as head coach Jeff Fisher said he just may bring the corner back. Although the Bears would recover the ball, they were now facing a 2nd & long.

Somehow, everyone seemed to feel that the right thing would be moving on, and yet no one did the right thing. However, it’s the Bears organization and fans that pay. I have always backed Eli, supported TC past year through all the mess, and have been with this team through all of its ups and downs. Coach Hue Jackson does not know when – or if – Kessler will return this season and added that will be determined by the team’s medical staff. It’s much bigger than just quarterback dysfunction. From April 2, 2009 when everyone thought it was a late April’s Fools Day joke from Bears GM Jerry Angelo to the 2010 NFC Championship game where he “quit” to the rebirth under Marc Trestman to these final days under John Fox, it’s been wildly inconsistent with Cutler.
