Galaxy S8 China release date rumored to be May 5th

From the comparison of the specifications of the three devices, we can say that the Galaxy Book has a good fighting chance against both the iPad Pro and Surface Pro 4.

The Galaxy S8 will use fingerprint, iris and facial detection to verify users accessing mobile services including Samsung Pay. On the front, the tablet offers a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture and auto-focus for video calling and selfies.

Samsung hasn’t officially released details about its new phones, but there are plenty of reports out there about what we can expect.

According to sources, Samsung intends to use a still underutilized facial recognition technology to authorize mobile payments. The rumors have claimed that this another Samsung’s Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus flagship will look like just Apple’s Jet Black finish from iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. As Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy S8 is almost here and there are many rumors and leaks detailing with what we should expect.

Ahead of the actual product becoming available at the stores and outlets, the buyers are looking forward to the unpacking event that is scheduled for March 29 at an event in NY. Though the phone was planned to be unveiled in two weeks, a purple version of the Galaxy S8 has leaked, but it doesn’t tell much. Apple, meanwhile, is also expected to add facial recognition support to the iPhone 8, and there’s more and more indirect evidence that seemingly confirms the feature.

However, there are a few questions over whether Samsung will be using this feature – firstly, Naver has only sporadically nabbed information about forthcoming phones in the past, although it’s been getting more info on the new Galaxy S8 of late.

The back of the phone is rather impressive, as it features a rear camera, flash unit, heart rate sensor and large FCC labels printed. Whether that comes to pass, however, we’ll finally know in less than two weeks.

In May 2016, a rumour suggested that Samsung’s foldable phone (or phones) will carry the new Galaxy X branding, and launch alongside devices like the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus in 2017.
