Fog is likely to develop once again after midnight.
Mild temperatures and a chance of rain are the big weather stories for the beginning of the week. Tuesday is expected to be an encore of Monday. This has the region off to a sunny, cool start, with clear skies and temperatures in the teens and 20s.
TUESDAY: Clouds for a while in the morning will break for sunshine.
We will see a mix of sun and clouds through the afternoon. That is well above normal for this time of the year with sunny skies. Highs only get into the 40s for Wednesday with breezy conditions, but it’s right back to the 50s heading into the end of the week.
A few showers could hang around into early Wednesday morning, but most of Wednesday will be dry.
By Friday, we are expecting some scattered showers and possibly some thunderstorms to come through. The rain should be gone by the morning hours on Saturday. High temperatures will be nearing 70° Monday afternoon. That low looks to lift off towards the Great Lakes over the weekend and swing a cold front through the state.
Dew points are somewhat dry and comfy this morning, but winds shifting to the southwest this afternoon will start to increase a bit of humidity over the next couple days. Showers and storms will be possible with our next storm system slated to arrive Saturday.
