Now this is classic.. it appears that Engauge landed the account because it purchased an SEO firm and other online assets. This has been a trend that hasn’t been spoke about much.. until now.
Engauge replaces Columbus-based RMD Advertising, an agency that focuses on food and manufacturing clients but with 12 employees is smaller than Engauge, which has roughly 300 workers in five offices. Engauge was created when TenUnited of Columbus was bought last year by New York-based Halyard Capital, which merged it with Direct Impact LLC of Austin, Texas. Since then, Engauge in January acquired Columbus digital technology firm StreamRight, and in April it bought Spunlogic, an Atlanta-based online advertiser.
